Look out, Cheating Spouse - they’re a comin’!
This beautifully composed photograph was taken at the airport in Hong Kong. I was hoping to get a pin on my “Places” map. Alas, no pin was dropped as you can see from the photo in my next post… No wifi, iS’pose.
Went to see True Grit yesterday with Peter. First, if you haven’t seen it yet, do yourself the favor and see it. If you can, fly to Michigan where you can see a movie for five friggin dollars! (California, can we get on that?) After purchasing passes we headed toward the snack station and on the way saw a HUGE Rango poster! Once I saw the mariachi owls (these were the first characters in the movie that I worked on) Peter couldn’t have wiped the smile off my face if he tried!
Back in Ann Arbor for the noon at one of my favorite cafes, Eastern Accents. Hard to compare the Bi Bim Bop to that which I had in Seoul b/c nostalgia has a way of warping the senses.
Dong Ba Market - So much to take in from goods (food, clothes, toys, household items, etc) to people. Reminded me of Chatuchak market in Bangkok but much smaller.
